Nicholas Di Genova Transcription, Graphic Design

This image was designed when looking at the work of Nicholas Di Genova. An artist famous for his work in hybrid animals and mutated organisms, I first caught sight of his work in the early stages of my Unit 3 Personal Investigation at the beginning of my A-level Graphics course. I wanted to focus on a fungal infection type pandemic, similar to the one seen in the 2012 title 'The Last of Us', and Di Genova had done a piece, which visualised the mutation of a toad as it is infected by a Cordycep (Parasitic fungus). I took his work on board, in order to create a Transcription which showed off a similar style of mutation, in direct relation to the 'Last of Us'.
